Course Summary

This 1 or 2-day course will familiarize you with the gear and skills needed to move your team up, down, and across difficult terrain, while keeping you safe and aware of your surroundings. Basic skills include knots, ascending, descending, rope bridges, terrain based planning, and orientation. Individuals will learn how to safely move through obstacles within natural environments. Team will work in unison, understand priorities of work, parallel operations and how to develop strategies and action plans that will give them the advantage to stay safe in almost any environment.

Course details

IMPACT- Basic ropes course provides you with the basics in working with ropes. The course is designed for beginners with no experience and comfort levels with the outdoors. The course will help attendees improve in: self-confidence, problem solving, team work, communication, trust, decision making, goal setting, and taking responsibility. The lessons learned in the ropes course translate well to business and will help participants deal with complex and chaotic times in their work place.
